Another week of an old post staring at you from this attention starved corner of the internets, but this time I've got an excuse - all I had to write about last week were Chinese gold farmers.
In non-insert-Great-Firewall-Of-Chine-pun-here news, one guy on an island wants to sue another guy over middleware, Blizzard goes all out and spares no expense when planning for their first fan gathering in...drumroll...their own carpark, SOE shuts down an EQ emulator resulting in an all-out war against license and intellectual property protection and then proceeds to sell its body anyway, and one MMO producer releases a battleplan that resembles more of an epeen stroking, whilst another MMO producer releases a letter that actually kind of looks like, you know, a battleplan.
And finally, in clearly the most important news this week based upon how many people across the virtual land searched for items relating to this occurance, gamers got bored with the Fragdolls and found someone new with whom they may have a torrid love/hate relationship.
But who am I to comment? It's clearly working for her. In fact, I might just subscribe to her newsletter of thought:-
Perhaps tomorrow may see some actual writing about MMOs on this site. Wouldn't that be different.
