Putting to rest the old and confirming the new, it has been announced that Cryptic Studios has finally landed the runaway bride.
Today at X06, Xbox’s annual official industry event in Barcelona, Spain, Microsoft Game Studios announced further details around its eagerly awaited project based on the Marvel universe of Super Heroes. Microsoft and Marvel Entertainment confirmed that Cryptic Studios has been named the developer of “Marvel Universe Online,” the highly anticipated massively multiplayer online (MMO) video game exclusive to Xbox 360 and Windows Vista.
Yes, that's the same Cryptic and Marvel that went to court last year.
I guess if someone is going to eat into your subscription base, it best be you.
Putting the spin on an unsure thing, Cryptic said the rumors of CoX's death are greatly exaggerated. Meanwhile, both Ames Kirshen and Jack Emmert proclaimed their love for World of Warcraft.
And now, a word from Adviceman, Defender of the Sometimes Learning Castle;
"So, what was the moral of today's show? That's right! Only stupid bears put their fingers in an Advanced Particle Accelerator. That's a no-no! And remember kids, Microsoft should remove that "Vista exclusive" restriction. He'll make more friends that way!
And now, let's all sing SuperJack's new theme song!
If you're going to borrow ideas,
Please don't be a foo'.
Learn from your past games,
And take WoW's grind factor too!
Hooray! Until we meet again next week, Adviceman Junior Club Members!
Gawd, I'm glad that's over. Feckin' kids..."
